Frequently asked questions.
What is the process?
Here is what you can expect when choosing to work with Engineered Pools. First step is to schedule a consultation meeting. We will then meet on site for a walkthrough of the property, talk over all your new build wants, needs and budget. Then we will go into the design and estimate phase. During this process we create a fully customizable 3D rendering showing you what the project will look like prior to ever breaking ground. We will then bid out your custom design and have a full presentation going over all the details of your bid. Finally, we get into the construction portion. During this portion you can expect your project superintendent to be in full communications with you regarding the next build steps. Typical new builds will start with layout, then move into Excavation, steel and forms, gunite, tile and coping, patio / outdoor living, equipment installs and finally plaster. Once the pool is filled with water, we will do a “pool school” with you to teach you all about your new pool and equipment. Last step is to enjoy your pool and make memories for years to come!
Why should I remodel my pool?
Pool remodels can be very customizable. Many clients begin their remodel journey due to either needing to replaster or retile their pool. However, there are a few factors that might cause a reason to remodel. Or you might just want a style update!
What Special features do I want in my pool?
To maximize enjoyment of your pool, even when you’re not swimming, you can incorporate water features and fun lighting. Do you have kids or enjoy playing games in the pool? A sport style depth might be for you, with basketball or volleyball nets. Interested in using the pool for exercising, consider installing a variable- speed current system, which allows you to swim in place. Or for a peace of mind while the pool is not being used, we can install automatic or manual pool covers.
